The Cam Walker Fracture Boot by United Ortho is designed to offer maximum stability and support for individuals recovering from injury or post-operative procedures. It is suitable for use in cases of acute ankle sprains, soft tissue injuries, stable lower leg, foot and ankle fractures, as well as post-operative rehabilitation. This universal boot can be used on either the left or right foot.

The Cam Walker Fracture Boot is equipped with plastic molded uprights that are reinforced with steel, ensuring increased durability and support. Additionally, it features a shock-absorbing insole that helps reduce the impact of heel strike during walking. The rocker sole of the boot encourages a natural gait, allowing users to continue their daily activities. The boot is recommended for individuals weighing up to 300 pounds.

Proper Sizing

Getting the sizing right is crucial for the effective functioning of the brace. It is important to use foot length as a guide for an accurate fit, as outlined on the size chart. Consider a larger boot if you wear wide shoes, use bandages or thick socks, experience swelling, or prefer a looser fit. On the other hand, consider a smaller boot if you wear narrow shoes, have slim feet, or prefer a tighter fit.

Proper Application

Step 1: Open all the straps and remove the liner from the boot. Place your foot in the liner, ensuring that your heel is positioned at the back.

-For a proper fit, completely remove the top strap. -Additional comfort pads are included to fill gaps in the liner and provide extra padding where required. Step 2: Close the liner, starting at the toes, and ensure a snug fit around the foot and leg. Step 3: Place your foot with the liner inside the boot, ensuring that the heel is pushed to the back. Attach and fasten the top strap once your foot is in the correct position. Step 4: Fasten the straps, starting at the toes and working up. If your toes extend past the end of the liner, a larger size is needed. Be sure your heel is properly positioned, and if discomfort is experienced, loosen the strap accordingly.
